At Home Nails is a booking product for adult children arranging a manicure, pedicure, or rinse-free shampoo for an older parent. The visit happens where they already live.
The product
A family member creates the booking, names the person the visit is for, and answers a short health screening. The price is shown in Canadian dollars before payment. A time is offered only when a technician trained for senior visits is free.
Screening answers stay with the booking so the technician sees them before they leave. Personal information is handled under PIPEDA. The same account works on the website and in the family app.
The work
This is mobile nail care, not a salon and not medical foot treatment. People book it when getting to a shop is the hard part: a parent at home, a resident in a seniors' building, or someone in a hospital bed.
The technician brings their own kit. Visits are capped at 120 minutes of service so no one sits through a longer appointment. Foot nail care is refused when diabetes or numb feet are reported. That work belongs with a chiropodist or a foot-care nurse.
Greater Toronto is open for booking. Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver are on the waitlist until a technician is ready there.
